The 2013 Koenigsegg Agera R Whooshing Through The Roads Of California. This Is Only The Beginning...9/24/2013 The World's First Matte Orange Lotus After this Lotus Track Car that was hurt at the Specialty Car Craft Track Day, It was brought to SCC to get repaired and to get a fresh Matte Orange Paint Job. The special customer wanted something unique - Specialty Car Craft has done matte black before, so it was time to move up to the next level.... MATTE ORANGE! SCC took this Orange Lotus Elise Track Car and after fixing some damage recieved at the track, they decided to go the extra mile and do a full matte orange paint conversion. They threw on some accents around the car including shaved turn signals and rear clam grills to make the car look stealthier than ever! This Lotus has the only BWR supercharger on it with a "charlie" tune which adds about 50 hp to the stock engine to put it at around 225 whp....but car weighs 1950 lbs, so you can imagine how light weight it is! After the owner of the Lotus saw the paint job, he said " I may have to track it less since the paintwork is too pristine". Worldwide there are a total of twenty Lamborghini Murciélago LP640 Versace Coupes in only 2 colors, Black and White!
But there are only 3 BLACK Lamborghini Murciélago LP640 Versace Coupes and the 17 others are WHITE. Here is number 11/20! Yet another custom creation by Specialty Car Craft. This one is called the Iron GT. They started out with a stock Bentley GT Mulliner (black/tan) and did a crazy transformation. The paint job was inspired by the new Lamborghini Reventon Roadster, custom painted black on red emblems and a set of 22" wheels make the car complete, and truly earned the title as the "Iron GT." Check out more Specialty Car Craft custom creations at Specialty Car Craft! Specialty Car Craft has just finished yet another car conversion... The once light blue Lamborghini Murcielago Roadster is now a new and unique matte Ithaca Verde. The project is titled "Go Green" not only because of the color of the car but because of the materials we used as well. We used all biodegradable materials on this build and painted the car with a water-based paint which is not only great for the car, but great for the environment as well. They also chipped the car, lowered it on coil overs, made a custom exhaust, reupholstered the whole interior, painted the wheels and the calipers and gave the car some great black accents. The Custom GFG wheels are almost done and ready to put on the car but we just thought we'd show you this first. Please go to www.sccbh.com for more pictures and information on our custom creation. The rally to the toy drive started off at 6 am at Specialty Car Craft's new body shop which is 2 blocks away from the original location. The sky was pitch black when we gathered till we were drove for 5 minutes on the freeway and then the sun rose from behind us beaming a nice soft light on all the cars on the rally! Every single driver and rider brought a dozen of toys and the trunks of their vehicles where filled with toys to give away to the children in need! The Motor4Toys charity toy drive and car show occured this past weekend, It's been occuring since 7 years ago! Every year this show continues to grow, gathering together several thousand car people and their exotic and collectible sports cars, race cars, muscle cars, tuner cars, and the rest. All of them come to support the cause of making sure every child has a gift to unwrap during the holidays. This show is unique in that it draws its participants entirely from the car community and since its inaugural year, Motors4Toys has been the single largest donor of toys to any charitable toy donation program. Tens of thousands of toys have been collected by Motor4Toys and distributed to groups such as Toys for Tots and law enforcement charities, and while I'm always happy to be a part of such a worthy cause, I have to admit that half the fun is the huge gathering of awesome and rare rides! |
